We are a grassroots coalition of Texans who believe that the issues of the safety of children, election security and strict immigration are paramount to all other issues right now. We are tired of our ability to win elections being jeopardized by the issue of abortion overshadowing our priorities. We are Texans who stand on all sides of the abortion issue and who believe in individual liberty and limited government.
Texans are not single-issue voters. The border situation and crime are getting worse. Freedom of speech is increasingly restricted. Our children are not safe. Inflation is out of control. Addiction and homelessness are out of control. Elections are increasingly at risk. We are on the verge of war.
If our country continues along this trajectory, there will be no rights for those of us here, much less the unborn. Take abortion off the table in the Texas Republican platform. You cannot legislate morality.

o Eliminate Abortion as a Priority: We urge the Republican Party of Texas to prioritize issues that resonate with most Texans and have a direct impact on their lives, rather than allowing the abortion debate to overshadow other pressing concerns.
o Eliminate Resolutions Targeting Abortion Pills (Abortifacients): We call for the removal of resolutions that seek to ban abortion pills (abortifacients), recognizing the need for a nuanced approach to reproductive healthcare. These medications are typically utilized within the initial 10 weeks of pregnancy and are widely regarded as exceptionally safe.
o Reject Planks Advocating for Prosecution of Doctors Performing Abortions: Punitive measures against healthcare professionals who provide abortion services are counterproductive and do not conform with our conviction regarding the importance of individual liberty.
